This EHX pedal will be an infinite source of inspiration for musicians with a passion for sequencer loops. The analogue Electro Harmonix 8 Step Program transmits a Control Voltage (CV) signal to another device that accepts CV or expression pedal input. Subsequently, the signal rhythmically controls the parameters that respond to expression pedals or CV generators, such as filters, delays, oscillators or guitar pedals like the Electro Harmonix HOG 2.
Programming pleasure with the 8 Step Program sequencer
With the EHX 8 Step Program you're able to program sequences of eight steps, each with its own corresponding step slider. The tempo can be determined with the rate slider, but you can also use the tap foot switch to tap the tempo, or have an external drum machine determine the tempo via the MIDI input. A range of settings are also at your disposal, as are ten presets, which can be expanded up to a total of 100 with the optional Foot Controller.

Aangekocht om te gebruiken in combinatie met een aantal andere gitaareffect pedalen, voornamelijk voor de pitch fork eigenlijk. De combinatie is fantastisch, in feite de ideale gitaar arpeggiator. Ondertussen ook al in combinatie met een line6 m5 gebruikt, maar daar heb ik nog wat werk aan, om ze ideaal te laten samenwerken.
Zelf nog niet gebruikt op synthesizer, maar dat zal in de toekomst waarschijnlijk nog wel veranderen.

door de combinatie van de schuivers en de gevoeligheid
heel goed in te stellen
ik heb ook de extra controller die maakt het super makkelijk om naadloos van de ene in de andere
sequence te springen

Beperkte Sequencer met, de naam zegt het al, 8 stappen.
Ik gebruik hem zelf om de PWM op een Microbrute (synthesizer), een WMD Geiger Counter (gitaar effect pedaal) en een
EHX Super Space Drum (drum pedaal) aan te sturen. Als het CV aan kan dan is dit je aanstuurkastje.
Ook de midi in om hem te syncen met bijvoorbeeld een Arturia Keystep of Beatstep pro is ideaal.
